Former Governor of Jigawa State, Alhaji Sule Lamido has predicted that the 2019 elections will favour the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
He expressed this during the flag-off of gubernatorial candidate of PDP, Rt. Honourable Ashiru Kudan at the Kaduna International Trade Fair Complex on Tuesday January 15, 2019.
“God has given PDP victory in the 2019 general elections. Some people say that they are clamouring for Mr. Integrity. Does your father lack integrity?” He queried, with the crowd responding ‘No’.
Speaking further, he said that firmer Vice President, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar who is PDP’s Presidential Candidate was on a rescue mission to save Nigeria.
In his remarks, former Governor of Kaduna State, Dr. Mukhtar Ramalan Yero said that PDP remains the best alternative for Nigeria.
“Who awarded contract for the expansion of Ali Akilu Road to Lugar Round About? Who initiated Kaduna Millennium City? Who was behind the construction of Patrick Yakowa Way? Which party built Kaduna State University?” He queried, with the crowd chorusing PDP.
In his remarks, member of the PDP Presidential Campaign, Senator Abdul Ningi said that he was impressed by the large turnout at the campaign flag off.
“Kaduna is taking back its rightful place. I am impressed by the massive support the party is getting, judging from the large. Crowd I am seeing at this flag off,” he said.
