There are indications that the independent national Electoral Commission (INEC) will postpone the already scheduled November 26 governorship election in Ondo state.
Information reaching at our disposal shows that the postponement which is being considered by the electoral umpire is due to security reasons.
An INEC source told Journalists that the electoral commission had been advised by security agencies that the safety of lives cannot be guaranteed if the election is held on November 26.
Meanwhile, the postponement is due for announcement any moment from now.
